Next Steps

Please login to SoftPowerSkills.com with the user name you created, or your email, and the password you created when you applied.

  • The first login takes you to our payment page. To reserve your spot, we ask that you deposit 1500 baht within one week, which applies toward the total cost of 18,000 baht for the full course.

The remaining amount must be paid no later than two weeks before the start date of the course.

  • Once you are paid in full, you’ll be given access to your personal online workshop page, where you can fill out your profile and start to get to know your workshop mates who are also up and running. You’ll also see the workshop calendar, and have links to our Zoom and Slack meetings and workspaces.

If you pay the remainder before two weeks out, and change your mind, the 16,500 baht will be fully refundable up through the 21st of May. Afterwards, we cannot refund the tuition. We will donate half of the unused tuition to Compassion International, a charity that sponsors impoverished children around the world to provide education and health care. If you decide to not participate, we will greatly appreciate a prompt notification so that we can fill the course with designated alternates.

How to Prepare to Get the Most Out of the Workshop

Prepare to be challenged and rewarded for four weeks between June 4th and July 3rd. Although there are no tests or grades, there is a demanding schedule to meet regularly online with your team members to collaborate on and deliver challenging, practical projects. After each project delivery, you’ll provide feedback to your peers, and reflect on the constructive comments that your cohort has provided to you. The experience will help you build confidence in yourself and trust in your mates to raise each other up to heights beyond your expectations.

  • You’ll need to clear your schedule on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 pm, and Sundays from 1 to 7 pm for face-to-face meetings via the Zoom app.
  • You’ll need to download the Zoom and Slack applications, as well as establish a WordPress blog which will be the primary platform for delivering your projects. We’ll be sending you more detailed instructions on how to do this later.

To help yourself get the most out of the course, I urge you to start reading Stephen R. Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly

Effective People, as several of our projects will be related to the material from his book. (A Thai translated version is available). You can focus on the Part One sections “The Power of a Paradigm” through “The Way We See the Problem Is the Problem” and habits 1, 2, 3, and 5. We are excited to have you join our community of movers and shakers—people in a hurry to implement positive change in themselves and their environment! Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We’ll be in touch with further information as the workshop date approaches.
